ZAYANA CATO

Chair

As a dedicated wife and mother of two boys, Zayana is committed to helping her community. As a former federal employee she saw a real need for change in the neighborhoods she was serving. Wanting to help her community Zayana started an LLC that currently provides housing and well-being to a few dozen ex-prisoners. However, the need is still growing hence Serenity Homes was established.

LATOYA HARRIDAY

Vice Chair

Latoya is an enthusiast for food, faith, family, and travel. Through her faith and travel experiences, she has observed a great need in the world and has dedicated herself to helping people in her community. She is a partner of an LLC that provides housing and well-being for ex-prisoners.

BRANDIS HARRIDAY

Secretary

Brandis is a loving wife and mom to 3 beautiful children. Brandis previously worked as a Business and Marketing secretary for the federal government. She also successfully helped create Peace Homes LLC and currently work there as the company secretary

ZANE JACKSON

Treasurer
As a native Detroiter and loving father of two, Zane is committed to helping our nonprofit to be successful. Zane is a strategic thinker and sound investor. He currently has several rental and investment properties.

NICOLE BROWN

Committee Chair

Nicole is an alumni of of MSU, former co host of radio talk shows LifeTellsTales and Round Midnight with Mike Bonner and currently the owner of Nicely Nail’D mobile nail Services. Born and raised in Detroit, Nicole is dedicated to give back to her community by providing resources and networking with other non profits to support our clients.
